NCUTCD Annual Meeting – June 17, 2020

The 2020 Summer Meeting of NCUTCD will be held starting Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at the Founders Inn and Spa (a Tapestry Collection hotel by Hilton) in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The meeting will conclude on either Friday, June 19 or Saturday, June 20, depending on whether a Notice of Proposed Amendments (NPA) for a new edition of the MUTCD is open for comment. A decision on the ending day of the meeting will be announced by mid-March.

Registration Information
Registration for the meeting may be completed either online using a credit card or by sending a registration form and check.
The fee for early registration is $155 ($130 for first time attendees) on or before May 27, 2020. If you register after that date, the fee is $205 ($180 for first time attendees). The fee is the same either by electronic or mail registration.
Spouses or guests may be registered at a fee of $35 each. There will be a spouse suite available each day and other activities may be planned.

If you are not able to send the registration form with a check by June 3, please either register online or plan to register at the door. The registration fee covers continental breakfasts and breaks.
Note: Registrations postmarked after May 27, or received without a check, will be required to pay the late registration fee.
Sorry, we cannot accommodate credit cards for mail registration, so please include a check with your registration form. The NCUTCD federal tax ID number is on the top of the registration form.

Hotel Information
Room rates at the Founders Inn are $149.00. Reservations received after May 17, 2020 will be at a higher rate. Rooms are limited, especially for Tuesday evening, June 16, so book early.
The hotel provides complimentary internet service in guest rooms and in the meeting area.

Just edit the dates as needed. You may also call the Founders Inn directly at 1-757-424-5511 and request a room under the NCUTCD group rate. Reservations may also be made through the main hilton.com website or at Hilton’s main reservation number at 1-800-HILTONS (800-445-8667).
Transportation
Norfolk International Airport (ORF) is 8 miles or 12 minutes from the hotel. Flights are available from several different airlines. A shuttle ($12 each way) is available to and from the hotel from 7 AM to 11 PM.
Richmond International Airport (RIC) is 92 miles from the hotel, and the DC / Baltimore area airports are approximately 200-240 miles (4-5 hours) from the hotel.
The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle to the Virginia Beach oceanfront.
